About Us

Silvia Smith, Director & Owner

Our motto at Bluebonnet Montessori is “Education for Life.”  The ultimate goal of our educational programs far surpasses the teaching of the basics, for your child will need to be equipped with far more in order to successfully meet the challenges of the 21st Century. We truly believe that children intuitively desire to learn.

Our mission is to instill love of learning and the universal values of respect, peace, kindness, compassion, truth, integrity and responsibility.

“Education for Life” focuses on experiences which:

  • We invite the new families to join the Bluebonnet community and continue to strengthen the tradition of close knit friendships, caring and mutual respect.

"It is true, we cannot make a genius...
We can only give each individual the chance to fulfill
his potential possibilities to become
an independent, secure, and balanced human being."

Our Facilities

The Bluebonnet Montessori School building was designed, specifically for the functions of Montessori instruction for children between the ages of 3 - 9 years old. The two primary classrooms and the two elementary classrooms have been created for the ability of each child to work independently, in small groups or to interact with the class as a whole. The separate playgrounds for Primary and Elementary children are configured for the functions of guided activities and for freedom of movement while the children are kept under constant supervision. The school property also includes three fenced acres with corrals and barns for the animals, a soccer and sports field, and extensive gardening areas.
